About Stanley Specialty Pharmacy
Stanley Specialty Pharmacy is a part of a network of 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies within the Revelation Pharma Network – which work together as a collective team to serve you. Stanley Specialty Pharmacy dates back to the early 1980s to the old Stanley Drugs corner drugstore in the Elizabeth neighborhood and has long been a staple of the Charlotte community. Then in the late 1990s the owner sold his retail pharmacy business and began Stanley Specialty Pharmacy – Charlotte’s state-of-the-art compounding-only pharmacy. Stanley Specialty Pharmacy has long been a staple in the community not only as a local compounding pharmacy but a facility that prides itself on providing comprehensive care to all of its patients, now backed by a nationwide network who share the same values. Rachel Simmons, CPhT, CSPT, General Manager
Rachel is a Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician who began her career as a pharmacy technician at the age of 15. Bringing over two decades of experience in both retail and compounding pharmacy settings, including 13 years focused specifically on compounding, she offers advanced expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding, along with a proven ability to optimize pharmacy workflows, enhance team efficiency, and drive operational excellence. She has successfully completed multiple advanced leadership development programs and actively contributes to the profession by serving on committees of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding. Throughout her career, she has maintained a steadfast commitment to delivering exemplary patient care while advocating for the professional development and recognition of pharmacy technicians within the industry.
Kayla Garris, PharmD, Pharmacist in Charge
Kayla is a compounding pharmacist and native of Raleigh, North Carolina, holding dual degrees from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences: A Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master’s in Clinical Research. Her passion for compounding and personalized medicine was cultivated during her PGY1 Community-Based Residency at Revelation Pharma in Kennesaw, Georgia. As an active member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, she remains committed to advancing her professional expertise. Since joining the Stanley team in 2025, Kayla has remained committed to establishing and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with both patients and healthcare providers.
Patricia Stairs, CPhT, CSPT, Sterile Lab Lead/DP
Patricia is a Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician with over 20 years of experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding. She specializes in optimizing pharmacy workflows while upholding the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
